NORTH ALLEGHENY WRESTLING
2001-2002
Congratulations to North Allegheny's wrestlers at the PIAA State Championships at Hershey this weekend.
Tom Parks brought home the Gold
in the Heavyweight division,
Jake Herbert placed Second at 160 lbs and
Eric Cassidy took 8th place at 171.
Overall, North Allegheny as a team placed 5th, behind
Easton, State College, Waynesburg and Northampton. Great job, guys!!!

Congratulations to Jake Herbert (1st place), Tom Parks (2nd place) and Eric Cassidy (3rd place) for their top-three finishes at the WPIAL Championships last weekend, which will earn then trips to Hershey for the PIAA State Championships. Surely the losses by Tom (1-0) and Eric (3-1 OT), very close matches, will be avenged the next time around. Congratulations also to our other wrestlers at the tournament who made a good showing as well.
Congratulations to Teague Moore, former NA Wrestler
in training for the 2004 Olympic Games, for placing First at Yasar Dogu,
Turkey, beating some stiff international competition from Turkey,
